A One Way Voyage........

I live life not the way I want it. I live life the way I decided. Decisions never always reflect what you want. Whether it's a mistake or not, it is the way God wanted it to be. Not known for now, but there is a reason, for I have died once, yet lived again. Be it fraught with upsets, at the end of the road, for as long as I can say "I have not harmed a soul", then it withstood the waves and the journey was perfect.-Falcon116

OMG!!!!

It's been five months since I last posted something here( apart from the one yesterday and this morning). Been too busy. My blogsite almost became exterminated from the cyber world, took me almost an hour to remember my password to login!!!

Anyway, I am back and I have lots of photographs taken the last six months which I am going to share with all of you in the next few days... Naka leave po ako from work until the 2nd of January, kaya maraming time to do all the abobots here in the house. After which, I am set to endeavour more responsibilities at work pag balik ko. I am excited but at the same time apprehensive. But...The heck with it!!!! Right now, I will enjoy the remaining 5 days of my christmas break.

My son graduated from grade school a couple of weeks ago. BHUHUHUHUHU!!! He's no longer a baby. The reality of him being now a teenager hit me when he started asking me awkward and shocking questions a month ago....then I came to realise na tumatanda na talaga ako.

Prior to his graduation, he had an emergency operation and got hospitalised, with which, he was unable to attend their Christmas concert in school. But thanks God, as always, he's now ok and fine as ever. I also had my own share of operation three months back. Don't ask me what for...Hindi po cancer. Basta I'm well and good.

I was also able to improve the aesthetic value of our house these past few months. I've been working out and sweating like crazy doing my garden. Unfortunately, none of the extra kilos disappeared. Sayang naman, yong baboy nga por kilo, tao pa kaya... The heavier, the more expensive di ba???

I've also made a rose bed in my back yard. The flowers sa mga flower vases ko inside my house are all from my garden. See di ba? Nakatipid!

Then I customised some of my own Christmas decorations. Out of some drift woods my Mum picked up from the boat ramp last year na gustong itapon ng huband ko, na i-save ko pa (and he likes it na!!!). OMG, my Mum and Dad were here for Christmas last year....Ang bilis!

I managed to put some of our precious photographs in picture frames na and hanged them sa wall ng living room. Sa katagalan ng pangongolekta ng picture frames, sa wakas, nailagay na rin!

I have so many more projects I need to do in my house. God willing, I might be able to do all these this coming year. Sana I will have the strength, the health and of course the 'PIRAH' to do lahat yon...
Most of all, I wish God will grant all my family here, Pinas and in Dubai, and of course all my friends here, sa land down under and all over the world , a great, healthy and happy year ahead.

Watch out friends and families for my future posts...your pictures might come up on this site. I have so many embarrassing photos ninyo...BWWAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

CAT OUT OF A HAT

Benazir Bhutto 1953-2007

1953-2007

I pay tribute to one, if not the bravest person the world has known.

Oftentimes, liberalism, education and fostering of western ideals are considered to be the core of iniquity, specially in Islamist extremism. Benazir Bhutto is the very representation of all things against the later. A beautiful, smart, young, well educated, pro democracy, bold and valiant woman. Her fortitude is known and widely praised by the Western Democratic Countries and all the other peace loving countries thereof, but may very well have been considered a threat to anarchistic ideologues. Her steadfast faith to save her country from the brink of destruction posted an inevitable fate.
I am very much inclined to say "What a waste....what a waste..."
On the other hand, it never is. She has shown what a woman can do in a male dominated region. She's shown the world that there is still an existing moral spectrum in a land ravaged by terrorism and sexism. She's shown the world what PATRIOTISM really means. Most of all she has embodied the very essence of being a woman...not to be simply beautiful and pleasant in the eye, but importantly, living to have a cause and dying for that cause.
