A One Way Voyage........

I live life not the way I want it. I live life the way I decided. Decisions never always reflect what you want. Whether it's a mistake or not, it is the way God wanted it to be. Not known for now, but there is a reason, for I have died once, yet lived again. Be it fraught with upsets, at the end of the road, for as long as I can say "I have not harmed a soul", then it withstood the waves and the journey was perfect.-Falcon116

REACHING STARS AND MOVING MOUNTAINS

I have given our friends a dilemma no one seems able to solve. Everyone's put a hand, effort and ideas on this problem, but it remains seemingly unyielding to any amount of pressure applied to it.

MISSION: Move this boulder from the delivery drop off point, which is our front yard, to our newly done-up backyard.
DISTANCE: 15 - 20 Metres

COST OF BOULDER: $80.00

EASIEST SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM: Hire a crane

Cost: $250 an hour

bugger it!!!

I was already at a point where I'll just leave it where it is, and work around the boulder instead. But it seems to have bugged every one's brain.

My husband was so cranky when I bought this boulder. He asked me what I think of him... Superman? His initial reaction was... 'BS' I'm not moving that. There's no way I can move it.

I told him..."well, you said you can reach the stars and move mountains for me...how come you can't even move this bloody rock?" Hmmm...Men.

So I rang another friend, Kuya Boy-who's a well rounded handyman, asked him for advise. He chucked in his idea. After that, everyone's thought of wild ideas. Mind you the boulder might look easy to pick up and move, but damn...I've never tried lifting anything this heavy in my life. I don't know how heavy it is, but I think it's somewhere near the half a ton margin. It's freakin heavy!

It's tickin' off even my neighbors brain. This morning, he asked where we want to put this boulder. They themselves have bought a boulder but dropped it from the trailer straight to where they wanted it, so no hassles came about. He offered to help too, but in the end, agreed he'll just lend us any equipment na meron sya. That's about all the help he can give.

During my birthday party, all my friends tried to accomplish this task. Unfortunately, the rock would not move. Tried all the ideas that came up to no avail.

Then this morning, Bill, my husband's friend, rang up and said he'd been thinking about this problem last night and he has an idea. I was like, OK, lay it down the table...Let it be different, because I've heard it all...

He showed up an hour after. then...WHALAH!!!!

How they did it? PERSEVERANCE...I love perseverance, it does move boulders. Love never moves mountains...Its one lousy bull crap concocted by BALAGTAS!!!
